Have you registered for the LRS HIMSS Lunch and Learn Featuring Sutter Health and Partners HealthCare?
HIMSS is a big event, chocked with more than enough information and events to fill your week. But at some point, you’ll need a break. So LRS invites you to take an hour and join us for lunch and a thought-provoking discussion on Wednesday, March 7. We’ve invited two prominent LRS clients to share their experiences of how they leveraged LRS software to overcome the security issues inherent in modern healthcare enterprises.
Brent Black, Director of Product Management for LRS, will lead the discussion with two LRS healthcare customers. The first is Wes Wright, CTO for California-based Sutter Health. Wright led his organization as they built and implemented ‘My Virtual Workspace,’ a project that addressed the need to optimize their clinical environment, and more importantly to secure their data. In so doing, they allowed users to access and print anything they need from anywhere. You’ll learn what it takes to secure data, optimize print and allow users full access from anywhere, anytime.
Wright is responsible for strategic direction and day-to-day operations in the delivery of all technology for Sutter Health, a Northern California health care system including 26 hospitals, a network of over 5,000 physicians and more than 50,000 employees.
Our other expert will be Rick Aherne, Project Manager at Partners HealthCare in Boston. Aherne has been involved in many projects related to security and printing at Partners. The Partners organization uses LRS for all its EMR printing as well as print across the entire enterprise. They have implemented pull printing through the use of LRS’ MFPsecure software. Partners is one of the nation’s leading biomedical research organizations and several Partners hospitals are principal teaching affiliates of Harvard Medical School.
Join LRS in Room 202 on March 7 between 1-2 pm to learn from these healthcare experts. We’ve reserved time at the end for audience Q&A. Seating is limited so reserve your spot now.
